Hello there discerning food lover! We are Larry and Heather, high school friends from the speech team in Palatine, IL who lost touch and reunited 18 years later only to discover mutual passions for sustainable and artisanal food, cooking, spirituality, irreverent humor and too many other similarities to mention. As we traveled, foraged for ingredients, enjoyed amazing restaurants and perused farmers markets we found ourselves having fascinating conversations. With a wink to our speech team beginnings, we couldn't resist putting together a podcast to capture these talks in audio. Wild Abundance is a show that celebrates the people who are devoting their creative energy and passion into creating magnificent artisan food.
